Dear Neighbors,
I would like to thank you all for your support over the years and for the enthusiasm you greeted my recently withdrawn candidacy. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I could not commit to a position on the Massapequa School Board of Education. Much of your support was based on the understanding of how much we as a community have accomplished over the last several years and your respect for my efforts toward those ends. What many people do not realize of course is that the guiding force in our partnership with the Town of Oyster Bay and the ‘brains’ behind these efforts was Gary Slavin.
I cannot express just how important this election is for our community. The standard campaign promises are already out there, but only Gary has a plan to get your Fair Share in Albany. Our problems won’t be solved with rhetoric or empty promises. Don’t be fooled by the slogans; none of the other candidates can really bring about change and some have no intention of it.
Believe me when I tell you that this is the most important election of the year for our community and voting for Gary is the single most important thing you can do to benefit us all this year.
Thanks again,
John Lynott
